Google Tips:               
a.    "quotation marks" causes google to treat this as a quote
b.    the +sign causes google to treat this as a requirement
c.    the -minus sign causes google to ignore this
d.    the addition words at the end limit the search to an area.... eg  or
e.     a ? replaces one letter...good for instances of not sure it if it is eg  mick or mack so use m?ck
f.      a * replaces one or more works  m*cdougall

Geniaus writes about her own research and using web 2.0 for genealogy.  It's a high quality Australian genealogy blog.  I've found ideas on where to search, what genealogy events are happening and reviews of events.  Her website reviews are concise, informative and technical (not based on likes or dislikes but technical and content merit)
Geneabloggers is a group of genealogy bloggers who write about their own research and all things genealogy! They seem to be mostly American blogs but I've found this useful in that everyone has a different perspective of genealogy and different goals so I'm learning different tips and tricks all the time and always trying to improve my own genealogy blog,

is a fascinating capture of our early world history and with a bit of searching, very unexpected reference books are on line to download.  I have downloaded many and then put onto CD which saves hard drive space, but also allows easy searching
